Chris O’Brien B.A. (Hons) Fine Art. P.G.C.E

Chris is a skilled experienced artist with many years of teaching experience at all levels.

He has taught at third level including Dunlaoighre school of Art, St Catherines College of Education Sion Hill, and on P.L.C courses in Gorey Community School, and Wexford Vocational College.

He has exhibited his work at Arts Centres throughout Ireland and also at The Butler Gallery Kilkenny, Crawford Municipal Gallery Cork, and Royal Hospital Kilmainham. His work hangs in private and public collections.

Chris has a warm and personable teaching style which ensures a relaxed atmosphere in his classes. His classes are structured so that each student develops a strong skill base. He then aims to facilitate each person’s personal interests in the art that they do.


Mary Claire O’Brien B.A. (Hons) Fine Art P.G.C.E.

Mary Claire is a practicing artist, who works in painting, sculpture and ceramics. She has exhibited her work at Wexford Arts Centre, and at Garter Lane arts Centre. She has taught at all levels, and is a specialist in facilitating creative art education projects for schools and community groups.

She has a special interest in the creative process and her classes at the studio focus on both technical and creative skills. She aims to help each student to discover their own personal creative pathway while progressing technically.
